About the Role:
The Channel Sales Representative is responsible for obtaining profitable results by creating new business opportunities within existing sales channels and meeting the sales objectives for the Central Region.
Essential Function:
- Find and create new business opportunities for Airgain products.
- Present value of company to customers and strategic partners to expand current base or cultivate new markets.
- Train channel sales partners on key business differentiators on Airgain product portfolio.
- Conduct sales forecasting / opportunity tracking.
- Review market analyses to determine customer needs and pricing.
- Represent company at regional and national trade shows/conferences.
- Develop and implement Strategic Account Plans.
- Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
- Work closely with executive leadership on strategic objectives and annual revenue targets.

Requirements/Qualifications:
- Education level: BA/BS degree in computer science, business administration or similar field.
- 8+ years of experience in sales with an emphasis in channel sales, wireless products, public sector or enterprise sales.
- Knowledge of mobile fleet, public safety, utility, M2M, or previous wireless antenna sales with mobile fleet deployments.
- Established relationships with public sector clients, VAR channel partners or carriers (i.e., AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, & T-Mobile).
- Demonstrated ability to exceed revenue targets and grow business year over year.
- Business development and solution selling experience.
- Ability to establish and maintain rapport with partners and new customers.
- Ability to vary writing style as needed to target a variety of different audience members.
- Ability to present numerical data effectively.
- Ability to support and explain reasoning for decisions.
- Ability to travel over 25% of the time, domestically, as needed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools required
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills with ability to write clearly and informatively.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting strict deadlines

Compensation:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $115,000-$130,000 + Sales Incentive Plan.
Our salary ranges are determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to the role, location, job-related skills, relevant education, experience and training.
The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target range for new hire base salary for the position across all US locations and varies by the location of the position. Our Talent team member can share more about our salary ranges and other benefits, which are not included in the posted base salary range.
