This role provides the opportunity to play a key part in ensuring accurate healthcare payments by auditing claims, analyzing complex data, and identifying recoverable funds. You will work with large datasets, client-specific systems, and industry-standard tools to detect discrepancies, improve processes, and mentor junior team members. The position requires a combination of technical aptitude, analytical rigor, and strong communication skills, as you will collaborate with internal teams, clients, and engineering to enhance audit efficiency. • Audit client data to identify overpayments, underpayments, and compliance issues, generating high-quality recoverable claims
• Develop, implement, and evaluate new audit concepts and processes to improve payment accuracy
• Train, mentor, and guide less-tenured specialists to execute audit projects effectively
• Use proprietary audit tools and Microsoft Excel to review reports, analyze claims, and document findings
• Collaborate with engineering and internal teams to enhance tools, reporting, and operational efficiency
• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, HIPAA compliance, and client-specific guidelines
• Maintain productivity and quality metrics while demonstrating professional judgment and skepticism in audits
• Provide clear, concise documentation and justification for audit findings and claim validations

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 4–6 years of relevant healthcare or audit experience, with knowledge of claim adjustments, provider contracts, reimbursement policies, and payment integrity
• 3–4 years of experience in similar audit or healthcare roles preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access); SQL experience strongly preferred
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets and various databases
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for documenting findings and training team members
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to assess accuracy, completeness, and quality of work efficiently
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information
