Description:

Mainstar Trust, located in Onaga, KS, provides custodial services for self-directed retirement accounts. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated individual to join our Income Team.

This is a full-time position with the opportunity to work a hybrid schedule upon successful completion of new hire training.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

(Performed with or without reasonable accommodation)

  • Process investment earnings accurately and timely
  • Reconcile accounts within the Trust Accounting System
  • Communicate and coordinate with investment companies
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal procedures
  • Assist with other department-related tasks as needed
Requirements:

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • One year of related experience preferred (banking, accounting, financial services, or similar field)
  • Strong work ethic and dependable attendance

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Solid mathematical and analytical skills
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • IRA knowledge is a plus; however, we are willing to train the right candidate
