Mainstar Trust, located in Onaga, KS, provides custodial services for self-directed retirement accounts. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated individual to join our Income Team.
This is a full-time position with the opportunity to work a hybrid schedule upon successful completion of new hire training.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
(Performed with or without reasonable accommodation)
- Process investment earnings accurately and timely
- Reconcile accounts within the Trust Accounting System
- Communicate and coordinate with investment companies
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal procedures
- Assist with other department-related tasks as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- One year of related experience preferred (banking, accounting, financial services, or similar field)
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Solid mathematical and analytical skills
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- IRA knowledge is a plus; however, we are willing to train the right candidate
