At Take 5, our success is built on strong leadership at every level. We’re looking for an experienced Area Market Manager to lead multiple locations, develop high-performing Store Managers, and drive results across an entire market.
This is a high-impact role for a proven multi-unit leader who knows how to build teams, improve performance, and execute a clear vision across multiple locations.
Requirements:What You’ll Do
As an Area Market Manager, you’ll set the tone for your entire market—leading through your people and driving results across every store.
- Create and communicate a clear vision for each store in your market
- Hire, develop, and lead Store Managers who are committed to performance and growth
- Establish benchmarks and hold teams accountable to operational and financial goals
- Drive consistency in execution, customer experience, and company standards
- Lead change initiatives and ensure alignment with company objectives
- Motivate teams, make tough decisions, and resolve challenges effectively
- Coach and develop Store Managers through regular feedback and performance reviews
- Build strong relationships by understanding team needs, motivations, and opportunities
- Maintain proper staffing levels across all locations
- Foster a culture of accountability, growth, and teamwork
- Analyze financial reports, KPIs, and performance trends across all locations
- Manage and oversee P&L performance for each store
- Identify gaps and implement strategies to improve sales, profitability, and efficiency
- Monitor store environments and operations to ensure consistent execution
- Allocate resources effectively to meet business objectives
- Multi-unit management experience required (automotive or retail/service preferred)
- Proven ability to lead leaders and manage multiple locations
- Strong planning, organization, and prioritization skills
- Clear and effective communication across all levels of the business
- Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and performance metrics
- High level of professionalism, ownership, and accountability
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using business systems and reporting tools
- Willingness to travel regularly within the market
- A self-motivated, high-energy leader who drives results
- Someone who takes ownership and follows through
- Comfortable making decisions and leading through change
- Focused on building strong teams and delivering consistent performance
