About This Position
The Manager, Marketing Project is a full-time, 12-month position responsible to the Assistant Director, Marketing. This position utilizes a strong foundation in project management to support the execution of all components of marketing campaigns and requests while ensuring consistency in content and brand standards across all mediums.
Required Qualifications
- Utilizing project management software, process incoming program requests, coordinate with client for accuracy of content, and determine if other marketing assets are needed to ensure stated goals from the creative brief are met.
- As TJC marketing campaigns are developed, ensure all needed assets for any channel are assigned, coordinated and tracked so that deliverables will remain on schedule.
- Whether a marketing campaign or program request, update and protect the integrity of content utilized by all marketing teams including graphics, videography, web, public and media relations, and/or digital content.
- Support asset management by trouble shooting unexpected delays and ensure successful delivery to proper channels, vendors or partners.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely design and media projects are in accordance with the TJC's Brand and Identity Standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a related field
- At least 1 year of demonstrated project management experience.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong sense of urgency and follow through.
- Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns or projects and ensure flawless delivery.
- At least 2 years of project management experience in a marketing team environment.
- Professional Certified Marketer (PCM) certificate
- Proficient in WorkFront and Smartsheet.
- Experience in Higher Education.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and a basic understanding of Adobe Creative Suite.

- Perform other duties as assigned
- Will have contact – in person, by email, or by phone – with staff, students, and the general public
- Must exhibit a sensitivity to and an understanding of the diverse academic, socio-economic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds of staff and students and to staff and students with disabilities
