About the Role:

As a Senior Staff Software Engineer - Salesforce within our Enterprise Technology organization, you will play a pivotal role. You will lead the strategy for Salesforce as well as the architecture, design, development, and maintenance of high-scale solutions, You will balance declarative tools with sophisticated programmatic resources like Apex, LWC, and Flow. Beyond writing clean, scalable code, you will champion quality through rigorous unit testing, participate in strategic code reviews, and ensure our architecture consistently adheres to industry-leading design patterns.

You will be joining a high-octane Salesforce technical team of dedicated Salesforce Administrators, Developers, and Architects who work in lockstep with a specialized team of Integration Developers to manage a complex, highly connected enterprise ecosystem. As a key technical leader, you will bridge the gap between business strategy and execution, architecting scalable solutions that support both high-touch B2B relationship management and Advertising Sales System. You will report to the director of CRM Engineering.

From revolutionizing visuals to optimizing tools and harnessing the power of data, mobile, video and social platforms, our team is committed to providing a seamless and immersive experience across all touchpoints. Collaborating closely with our newsrooms and strategic partners, we spearhead the development of groundbreaking products and technologies.

You Will:
  • Strategically guide the engineering team to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions by championing Salesforce best practices and enterprise design patterns and lead integrations with industry leading systems like SAP and Adbook
  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle for full-stack development-design, development, automated testing, and documentation-of complex technical solutions on the Salesforce platform, ensuring alignment between business requirements and technical feasibility
  • Orchestrate the implementation of platform enhancements and new functionality, streamlining the deployment process to improve speed-to-market and system reliability
  • Serve as a technical bridge between stakeholders and engineering teams, translating business needs into creative technical solutions while providing transparent updates on project health and risks
  • Proactively research emerging Force.com technologies and industry trends (such as AI/Agentforce or Data Cloud) to provide roadmap recommendations to leadership


You Have:
  • At least 10 years' extensive hands-on experience developing on the Salesforce platform, with a proven track record of building scalable, enterprise-grade solutions
  • Deep proficiency in both declarative configuration and programmatic development, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and advanced Flow orchestration
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce deployment and release management tools, specifically Copado, Jenkins, or similar automated pipelines
  • Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and elevate the team through rigorous code reviews and mentoring junior developers on best practices and design patterns
  • Ability to translate complex user stories into high-quality, working software with minimal oversight

Pay Range: $170,000 - $225,000
