Responsibilities
- Manually wrap elevator products using shrink wrap and other packaging materials as required.
- Package all items per defined standards to ensure delivery quality to our customer – may including boxing, bubble-, stretch-, or shrink wrapping, strapping.
- Perform saw cutting as part of the packaging process.
- Utilize measuring tape accurately to ensure packaging meets specifications.
- Operate tools such as nail guns, C clamps, and blow torches as needed for packaging tasks.
- Lift and move heavy elevator components and packaged products.
- Ability to read and interpret measurements using a measuring tape.
- Utilize computer and ERP systems to identify and pull required pick lists for the shift.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the packaging area.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
- Other duties as assigned.

- High School Diploma and 2-3 years assembly experience in a manufacturing environment
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and precision in packaging tasks.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong work ethic and reliability to consistently meet production goals.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and willingness to take on new tasks as required.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures in English.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Must have the ability to perform all tasks with minimum supervision.
- Ability to effectively communicate with supervisors, managers, other stakeholders.
- Should possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

- While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand and use hands and fingers to handle or feel materials.
- The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
- The employee is required to walk throughout facility.
- Employee may lift and/or move up to 10 pounds frequently, lift and/or move up to 25 pounds occasionally and lift and/or move up to 50-100 pounds with assistance of another person. Assistance is available for weights above persons lifting capabilities.
- The work environment of this job has the employee regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and is exposed to vibration from grinder. The employee works in a plant manufacturing facility that is regulated by heat in the cold months and flow through air in the warm months.
