To succeed in this role, you should have a thorough working knowledge of intermodal transportation, be familiar with dispatching software, safety and electronic logging devices. You are the key link to the driver and the customer. Your attention to detail, exceptional communication and leadership skills will help you achieve company and personal goals.

Manage the daily operations of your drivers, both company drivers and independent contractors through electronic dispatching, and DOT safety requirements.

Work directly with your customer service representatives on any scheduling conflicts, delays, or accessorial charges in a safe and cost-effective manner.

Monitor your driver HOS, on time service performance, as well as maintaining driver retention ratio in line with company goals.

Access information from a variety of sources and input data in various systems.

Communicate critical information to immediate supervisors and responsible parties.

Resolution management

2+ years of intermodal experience

High School Diploma or equivalent, some college preferred

Proficient typing skills

Strong work ethic

Attention to Detail

Multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment

Good attendance history

Accurate written and verbal skills

Must have reliable transportation

Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment drug test
