Day Habilitation M-F at BETTYES HEALTHCARE NETWORK – Arlington, Texas

We're looking for a professional caregiver for individuals with intellectual disabilities in a Day Habilitation setting. Candidates for employment must be at least 21, personable, compassionate, energetic, punctual, and flexible. Must be willing to undergo a background check, including driving history. Job duties include but are not limited to the following:
• Assist in the development and implementation of personal goals to enhance and maintain the optimum skill level of each individual.
• Participate in community trips and recreational activity schedules.
• Document progress on daily basis and work on goals designed to meet individual's needs.
• Provides direct care, as needed, i.e. ADL skills.
• Develop relationships to build trust and execute developmental and operational activities.
• Transport individuals on trips in the community, as well as the morning and evening transportation route.
