Manager, Commercial Planning

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Manager, Commercial Planning in United States.

This role sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, and analytics within complex airport commercial environments, where passenger experience and revenue generation are tightly connected. You will help shape and optimize non-aeronautical revenue strategies across a network of airports, translating passenger behavior and operational data into actionable commercial plans. Working across multidisciplinary teams, you will contribute to concession planning, space optimization, leasing strategies, and advisory projects. The role requires a strong ability to connect data insights with real-world execution, ensuring commercial programs are both efficient and passenger-centric. You will also support client engagement and business development initiatives, helping deliver high-impact solutions in a fast-evolving infrastructure environment. This is a highly collaborative and analytical position with strong visibility and tangible impact on airport performance.

Accountabilities:
  • Analyze passenger flow, dwell time, and spend data to inform retail, food & beverage, and service concession strategies.
  • Support long-term commercial planning aligned with airport expansion projects and traffic forecasting models.
  • Contribute to non-aeronautical revenue growth by optimizing concession mix, placement, and performance.
  • Define concession space requirements and support layout planning in collaboration with architects, planners, and operations teams.
  • Participate in the full leasing lifecycle, including RFP development, contract preparation, negotiation support, and execution tracking.
  • Monitor lease terms, expirations, and portfolio performance to proactively identify risks and opportunities.
  • Lead and support commercial advisory engagements across multiple airport clients, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
  • Translate complex data analysis into clear, actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Support business development efforts by identifying new revenue opportunities across concessions, parking, land use, and services.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, strategy, architecture, planning, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in project management, commercial coordination, consulting, or airport/aviation environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to transform data into actionable commercial insights.
  • Experience working across cross-functional teams in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with confidence engaging senior leadership.
  • Strong organizational skills, self-direction, and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Curious and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and challenge assumptions.
  • Preferred: experience in aviation, infrastructure, leasing, concessions, or revenue-generating programs; MBA or advanced degree a plus.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range of $107,500 to $120,000 USD.
  • Hybrid/remote work flexibility with preference for candidates near operational hubs.
  • Opportunity to work on high-impact airport commercial transformation projects.
  • Exposure to large-scale infrastructure, aviation, and advisory environments.
  • Career development opportunities in strategy, consulting, and commercial planning.
  • Collaborative, global work environment with cross-functional project exposure.
  • Inclusive workplace culture that values diverse perspectives and innovation.
