Senior QA Engineer

You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and usability of complex consumer-facing applications across multiple platforms. Working closely with product managers, developers, and cross-functional teams, you will design and execute comprehensive testing strategies that support large-scale digital experiences. The position requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to identify risks early in the development lifecycle. You will also help improve overall quality practices by contributing to process enhancements and automation initiatives. Accountabilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for defining and executing robust QA strategies to ensure high product quality across all releases.

  • Design, develop, and maintain detailed test plans and test strategies covering functional, regression, usability, and compatibility testing
  • Collaborate with project managers and development teams to define QA scope, timelines, and testing approaches
  • Conduct in-depth requirement analysis and validate functionality across browsers, operating systems, and mobile devices
  • Identify, document, and track defects while actively supporting root cause analysis and resolution efforts
  • Facilitate communication between QA and development teams to ensure timely and effective bug resolution
  • Perform risk assessments and impact analysis based on requirements and system changes
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of QA documentation across projects and releases
  • Select and apply appropriate testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks aligned with project needs
  • Translate technical findings into clear insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Continuously improve QA processes and contribute to quality best practices across the organization
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should bring strong QA expertise, technical understanding, and excellent collaboration skills.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a QA Engineer in software or digital product environments
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies including black-box, white-box, regression, and acceptance testing
  • Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems
  • Solid knowledge of software development practices including Agile and Scrum environments
  • Familiarity with source control systems, CI/CD concepts, and development frameworks
  • Intermediate understanding of HTML, CSS, JSON, and XML
  • Experience testing across multiple platforms, including web, mobile, and cross-browser environments
  • Knowledge of CDN behaviors and related testing approaches
  • Ability to use AI tools to enhance QA productivity and workflows
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with large-scale consumer-facing digital products is highly valued
  • Experience in the sports or digital entertainment industry is a plus
