About the role

Hot Tubs Of Tennessee is hiring for Sales Professionals in Middle Tennessee. Ideal candidates should have big ticket retail sales with lead follow-up and successful closing experience.

Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Big Ticket Retail Sales Professional to join our team. This role is crucial for driving high-value product sales, primarily in categories such as furniture, electronics, home appliances, or luxury goods. The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging with customers, understanding their needs, providing expert product recommendations, and managing the sales process from initial contact to post-sale follow-up. Please note: This position is not remote. Candidates should be within driving distance to Middle Tennessee locations in Franklin, Lebanon and/or Murfreesboro.

What you'll do

  • Sales Generation
  • Drive sales of high-value products (big ticket items) through direct customer interaction in a retail environment.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions that align with their preferences, budget, and lifestyle.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to build strong relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Achieve or exceed individual sales targets, contributing to the store's overall sales goals.
  • Lead Management & Follow-Up:
  • Follow up with leads generated from various sources, including in-store inquiries, online forms, and marketing campaigns.
  • Proactively reach out to potential customers through phone calls, emails, and other communication methods to nurture relationships and convert leads into sales.
  • Track lead activity, set follow-up reminders, and maintain an organized record of all lead interactions using CRM systems or sales tracking tools.
  • Provide ongoing communication to leads, answering questions, offering promotions, and assisting with product selections until a sale is closed.
  • Customer Experience:
  • Provide a personalized shopping experience, ensuring customers feel valued and well-informed throughout their journey.
  • Assist with product demonstrations, explain product features, and offer expert advice to address customer concerns or objections.
  • Manage the post-sale experience, ensuring that products are delivered on time and customers have any needed assistance after purchase.
  • Product Knowledge & Training:
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest product offerings, features, and market trends in the retail sector to provide accurate and relevant information to customers.
  • Attend training sessions and team meetings to continuously improve sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service skills.
  • Administrative & Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of sales and lead interactions, and provide regular updates to management regarding performance and lead progress.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all sales paperwork is completed correctly.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in retail sales, preferably in big ticket or high-value product sales.
  • Sales Skills: Proven ability to drive sales, work with leads, and close high-value transactions with attention to detail.
  • Customer Service: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for delivering a superior customer experience.
  • CRM & Technology: Familiarity with CRM software or sales tracking tools to manage leads and follow-up processes.
  • Problem Solving: Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills to address customer concerns and overcome objections.
  • Team Player: Ability to work well with others, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment.
  • Available to work peak times such as weekends and some holidays.
