Academic Success Coach at Saint Xavier University – Chicago, Illinois

Seeking a part time RN with a strong passion for nursing to provide support to nursing students enrolled in our program. This is a grant funded position that would be pending grant renewal for future semesters
Position requires meeting with identified students both face to face and via zoom to guide and direct them in academic nursing success. Such tools will include, but not limited to successful test-taking strategies, time management, and prioritization.
· Illinois RN License with ability to identify, develop and implement learning strategies and study skills specific to nursing course materials.
· Attention to detail with flexible time management skills.
· Familiar with or willing to learn academic technologies to support position ( ie Navigate, LMS, Academic resources, ATI).
· Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with faculty, students and departments throughout the University.
· Experience with excel and the generation of reports.
