Position: Director of Education
We are looking for a Director of Education who will play a vital role in shaping curriculum excellence and teacher development across our centers. This is a classroom-focused leadership position—you’ll spend about 80% of your time in early learning classrooms, modeling best practices and coaching teachers. The remaining time is dedicated to administrative tasks, data analysis, and planning professional development.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct classroom observations and create behavior intervention plans
- Mentor teachers on curriculum, lesson planning, and assessments
- Lead professional development sessions in collaboration with Spiritual Development
- Rotate between centers to provide on-site coaching and support
- Track and analyze academic and behavioral data to inform strategies
- Ensure compliance with licensing and accreditation standards
- Passion for early childhood education and faith-based learning
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
- Passion for Texas Rising Star (MUST)
- Ability to work in classrooms and lead by example
- RBT certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Meets Texas licensing requirements for leadership roles
Physical Requirements
- Active classroom environment: frequent sitting, standing, kneeling, bending
- Ability to lift/move up to 40 lbs as needed
- Maintain clear visual and auditory supervision of children
