About the Role

Location: Yate, Bristol

Schedule: 37.5 hours per week | Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm. Paid overtime available

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to join our engineering team at our Yate manufacturing site.
This is a days-based role offering a strong balance of planned maintenance, reactive fault-finding, contractor coordination, and continuous improvement work. You’ll play a key role in ensuring equipment reliability, supporting production, and maintaining safe and compliant site operations.
This is a great opportunity for a hands-on maintenance professional who enjoys variety, responsibility, and working in a stable Monday–Friday environment with paid overtime available.

What You’ll Be Doing

Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across site equipment and systems

Supporting production by reducing downtime and improving equipment reliability

Managing maintenance schedules and work orders through SAP/CMMS

Diagnosing faults and implementing practical engineering solutions

Coordinating contractors and issuing Permit to Work documentation

Ensuring safe systems of work, including isolation and lock-off procedures

Monitoring equipment condition and identifying improvement opportunities

Ordering and sourcing replacement parts as required

Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation

About You

We’re looking for someone with strong electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
You will ideally have:

Level 3 Electrical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent)

Completed apprenticeship in Electrical or Maintenance Engineering

Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment

Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

Experience using SAP or CMMS systems

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Desirable:

18th Edition qualification

ONC/HNC or equivalent

COMPEX / ATEX experience
