Description:

Level A: • Learn to operate picker and Grohman Machines, including setup, troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on fluoroscope machines. • Learn to fill out and complete daily production reports and learn to recognize visual cosmetic defects. • Learn the required quality acceptance criteria for components. • Learn to inspect date stamps on component parts. • Ability to train lower level employees. • Identify all non-conforming materials and reports any discrepancies. • Always wear the appropriate safety equipment at all times, which includes radiation badge, attend scheduled safety meetings and conduct one’s self in a manner respectful to others, equipment and tools. • Perform other jobs as assigned. • Has the responsibility and authority for controlling quality as delegated by management. Level B: (Above Skills +) • Must have at least 1 year on the job training. • No Quality related write ups. • Demonstrate leadership abilities. • Demonstrate the ability to operate the Fluoroscope machine. CONTRIBUTION QUALITY, SAFETY, ENVIRONMENT NOTE: This position has been designated as a “Safety Sensitive” position because a person performing the duties of this position while under the influence of marijuana may constitute a threat to the health and safety of him/herself or others. • To keep abreast of the requirements related to its activity of quality safety and environment (QSE); • Observe the QSE which are in the form of sheets of instructions; • Back the information to his N + 1 in case of malfunction or difference noted; • Maintain compliance and clean updated equipment at its disposal;

Requirements:

EDUCATION LEVEL : Education upon hire: Employees must be able to run both types of fluoroscope machines. SKILLS TECHNIQUES (KNOW-HOW): Technical know-how : • Visual acuity test • Ability to interpret x-ray results and follow process under ASTM guidelines • Ability to identify external and internal defects • Must have quality certification of default recognition • Ability to successfully pass company provided NDT level 1 certification • Properly fill out all necessary company documentation • Ability to load the various appropriate x-ray programs
