RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare patients for orthodontic exams and treatments

Assist the orthodontist during procedures

Take and process digital radiographs (including panoramic images)

Take 3D scans and orthodontic photo records

Place and remove orthodontic appliances and assist with adjustments (training provided as needed)

Provide patient and parent education on oral hygiene, appliance care, and treatment plans

Document clinical notes accurately in patient charts

Review and manage schedules to ensure appropriate appointment flow

Set up and break down operatories before and after procedures

Clean, sterilize, and maintain instruments and equipment in compliance with OSHA standards

Perform basic lab work and assist with appliance preparation

Restock supplies in operatories and sterilization areas

Support patient consultations and follow-up scheduling

Maintain infection control standards and office cleanliness

Participate in office events, celebrations, and community service projects
