About the Role

Spring Automation is seeking a Marketing Specialist to design, execute, and continuously improve marketing programs that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth. This role plays a critical part in shaping how Spring shows up in the market—supporting sales, strengthening industry relationships, and ensuring our brand presence reflects the quality of our work.

You will lead both strategic initiatives and hands-on execution across digital marketing, events, content creation, and brand management. As Spring grows, this role will have a direct impact on customer acquisition and overall business direction. The role reports to the VP of Sales & Marketing

In this role, you will…

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies and programs that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth
  • Identify new market opportunities and support Sales through lead generation, account-based marketing, and targeted campaigns
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, pricing, and customer insights to inform strategy and positioning
  • Track, measure, and report on marketing performance and ROI to continuously improve results
  • Own and evolve Spring’s brand messaging and ensure a consistent, professional presence across all channels
  • Create and manage high-quality marketing content including website updates, case studies, videos, graphics, sales collateral, email campaigns, and social media
  • Manage digital marketing efforts across email, SEO, paid advertising, and social platforms
  • Maintain and update the company WordPress website to ensure accurate, engaging, and relevant content
  • Lead company promotional materials, branded merchandise, and the employee store
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute tradeshows, conferences, and industry events from strategy through follow-up
  • Collaborate with vendors, freelancers, and internal teams to deliver successful events and marketing initiatives
  • Travel to customer sites and industry events to represent Spring and strengthen relationships
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry partners, customers, and thought leaders in the controls and automation space
  • Develop sales presentations, tools, and materials that enable the Sales team to effectively engage prospects
  • Coordinate pre- and post-event engagement and follow-up strategies with Sales
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding Spring’s solutions, capabilities, and industry applications
  • Partner cross-functionally to improve processes, increase marketing efficiency, and strengthen internal and external communications
Requirements:

We are excited about you because you...

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 3+ years of marketing experience, ideally in technical, industrial, or automation-related industries
  • Strong communicator who builds trust with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with evolving priorities
  • Self-starter who balances strategy with hands-on execution
  • Experience with tools such as Microsoft Office, Adobe/Canva, WordPress, Salesforce (Account Engagement/Pardot preferred), and social media platforms
  • Experience with MHI or industrial trade shows is a plus
