Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, MO is hiring a RN, LPN, CMA, or MA to join our staff at the Ash Grove Family Medical Center in Ash Grove, MO. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. About the department: Ash Grove Family Medical Center staff see patients of all ages for a variety of illnesses, injuries and ailments. Ash Grove medical staff provides complete family care, including well-baby exams, well-woman exams, wellness visits, immunizations and behavioral health.

A typical day includes: Being an integral member of the healthcare team and being responsible for caring for patients of all ages. The nurse will be expected to provide a variety of skills, including: patient education, administration of intramuscular and oral medications, vaccination knowledge, weekly and monthly inventory, EKG, lab draws on adult and pediatric patients, lab skills, and other responsibilities as assigned.

• Administration of medications via PO, IM, SQ, ID, INH routes. IV if IV certified
• Verifying and documenting patient allergies, pharmacy, medications, and health histories as required by visit intake
• Conducting screening assessments including but not limited to: suicide, depression, substance abuse, fall risk, memory, cognition, vision and hearing.

Job Requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience: Preferred Healthcare Experience
• Skills: organization, able to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking
• Licensure/Certification: Active RN or LPN certification in Missouri, Certified Medical Assistant
• Physical: ability to work standing at a computer 90% of the day and working at a computer the remaining 10%.
• The position is: Part Time Days; Monday-Thurs 8-5, Friday 8-4
