Assistant Community Manager / Leasing Agent & Lease Compliance Specialist

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys leasing, resident interaction, and ensuring lease and regulatory compliance—especially within tax credit communities. If you love providing exceptional service while keeping operations organized and compliant, we want you on our team.

• Guide prospective residents through the leasing process, including tours, applications, and lease signings

• Create a welcoming, professional experience for future and current residents

• Respond to resident questions and concerns with a positive, solutions-focused approach

• Serve as a Lease Compliance Specialist, ensuring all resident files are complete, accurate, and compliant with tax credit and regulatory requirements

• Verify income, assets, and documentation in accordance with compliance guidelines

• Maintain organized, audit-ready files and assist with compliance reporting as needed

• Support rent collection efforts and assist residents with billing or payment questions

• Perform data entry, reporting, and document management to support smooth daily operations

• Utilize property management software to maintain accurate records

• Enter, track, and follow up on work orders to ensure timely completion

• Communicate with residents and maintenance teams regarding repair status

• Previous experience in property management

• Knowledge of tax credit properties and lease compliance is required

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor

• Proficiency with property management software

• Salary range: $48,000 – $52,000 per year, based on experience
