You bring a mix of creative thinking and tactical execution to identify, develop, and strengthen partnerships to maximize revenue for Retool.
WHAT YOU’LL DO: As part of our Strategic Alliances team, the Alliances Partner Manager will work with some of Retool’s largest and most important technology partners, especially large cloud providers and software vendors, to develop and execute joint go-to-market programs, with a primary goal to accelerate partner-sourced & influenced revenue for Retool. These partnerships impact many areas of the business—including sales, marketing, product, and customer success—so you’ll need to collaborate across teams and keep executives updated.

WHAT YOU’LL DO: As part of our Strategic Alliances team, the Alliances Partner Manager will work with some of Retool’s largest and most important technology partners, especially large cloud providers and software vendors, to develop and execute joint go-to-market programs, with a primary goal to accelerate partner-sourced & influenced revenue for Retool. These partnerships impact many areas of the business—including sales, marketing, product, and customer success—so you’ll need to collaborate across teams and keep executives updated.
Strategy & Growth
- Help develop and execute our Strategic Alliances strategy and programs, alongside the Partnerships and Sales leadership team
- Assess existing partnerships and identify new high-potential partners to pursue.
- Collaborate with our closest partners to develop and execute joint GTM initiatives that drive mutually beneficial outcomes, including sourced and influenced pipeline, co-sell revenue, marketplace revenue and customer adoption
- Be the conduit between our strategic partners and Retool sales teams to facilitate planning, account mapping and initiating co-sell exploration
- Design and deliver training, resources, and enablement materials to ensure partner readiness & engagement
- Oversee partner-engaged deal processes, from opportunity vetting to sales hand-off, through deal close, ensuring smooth execution and a positive partner experience throughout.
- Continuously improve partnership processes, tools, and resources to enhance experience, scalability, and pipeline contribution.
- Design & deliver internal enablement programs to ensure internal Sales team readiness & engagement
- Track and report on partner performance, pipeline impact, and program health using data-driven insights.
- Design and implement operational workflows to streamline internal and partner-facing processes and reporting
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to align on GTM strategies, co-sell motions, and partner-led growth initiatives.
THE SKILLSET YOU'LL BRING:
- 7-10 years of technology sales experience with a proven track record of building and scaling successful sales strategies and exceeding sales targets
- Have experience collaborating closely with technology partners to execute on joint sales targets
- Strong collaboration skills with various field sales roles and marketing to execute a full-funnel sales strategy
- Experience establishing and tracking KPIs
- Proficiency with sales reporting tools and CRM systems (Salesforce experience a plus); skilled at data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills; detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills across internal and external stakeholders.
