Presbyterian Village North is currently seeking an Associate Executive Director to join our community.

With a shared legacy in business and healthcare innovation, Forefront Living's family of care-oriented organizations creates high-quality senior careactive independent and assisted living, long-term care, Alzheimers and memory care, skilled nursing and rehabilitation therapies, hospice, and palliative care.

The Associate Executive Director reports directly to the Executive Director of PVN and will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the community in the areas of Housekeeping, Culinary Services, Wellness, and Community Life, including full profit and loss responsibility.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Model a service attitude and lead by example, take ownership in solving problems and take the initiative to make things better, is friendly and courteous to residents and co-workers

Ensure resident/patient, visitor, and co-worker safety by remaining aware of and reporting any new or existing safety hazards

Recruit, hire, train, coach, and evaluate departmental staff

Assist ED to plan, develop, organize, and implement business development programs that ensure facility attains or exceeds occupancy projections

Prepare budget for Operations with assistance from department heads

Assist with conducting frequent and on-going inspections to assess compliance with state and federal regulations

Assist in maintaining QA goals, identifying trends and prepare reports as necessary

Monitor financial results, following up with variances with appropriate staff

Work in conjunction with other management personnel to support staff, identify and resolve facility problems/concerns

Ensure the implementation of therapeutic, recreational and rehabilitative programs to meet social and activity needs of residents

Conduct rounds to ensure physical plant maintenance is performed in a timely manner and that all safety policies are being followed

Directly supervise leaders in Housekeeping, Wellness, Culinary Services, and Community Life

Ensure Disaster Preparedness Manual is current and correct at all times

Monitor reports from payroll to ensure hours are within budget

Ensure Risk Management Forms are kept up to date and that all policies and procedures are followed

Ensure HIPAA policies and procedures are followed in the Health Care Unit

Ensure effective Customer Satisfaction results are prioritized with dedicated performance plans as necessary

Ensure consistency in expectations of practices supporting quality healthcare scores

Ensure financial performance targets are supported by consistent processes and systems delivery

Ensure organizational standards for employee engagement and retention are supported through effective leadership principles

Participate directly in organizational Advocacy practices to ensure customer support as appropriate

Participate in internal and external community marketing initiatives to ensure occupancy goals are prioritized

Work in conjunction with other management personnel to support staff, identify and resolve facility problems/concerns

Continue improvement of the budgeting process through education of department managers on financial issues impacting their budgets

Represent the organization to the public with experience in donor relations and educational presentations

Actively participate in community activities and civic events

Ensure campus compliance of all State and Federal regulations

Assist in fundraising as directed by ED

Ensure facilitys exposure to risk is minimized by cultivating and maintaining resident, family and staff relationships and ensuring regulatory requirements are met

Other duties as assigned by Executive Director


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors degree in business administration, Nursing, or other Health related field

Five or more years experience in LTC Administration CCRC management experience preferred

Demonstrated excellence in budget development and compliance


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Proven leadership and ability to recruit, train, motivate personnel, with ability to balance staffing strength with sustainability and growth

Demonstrated administrative skills, including well-developed management and technology skills

Ability to establish credibility and be decisive, as well as recognize and support the organizations priorities and mission

Results oriented with the ability to balance all business considerations

Demonstrated expertise in all aspects of care and programming residents

Demonstrated expertise in all aspects of Medicare programs, including reimbursement programs, with demonstrated ability to maximize reimbursement levels, understanding of Texas QRS program

Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with a broad range of individuals of varied backgrounds

Ability to perform Essential Duties as outlined below

Genuine caring for and interest in the care of mature adults, special needs, and hospice patients

Ability to perform work tasks within the Physical Demand Requirements as outlined below

Ability to comply with the Resident Bill of Rights and the Employee Responsibilities

Ability to comply with organizational and departmental safety policies and procedures
