About This Position

Senior Technical Recruiter

About Machina Labs:

Engineering moves at software speed. Manufacturing doesn't. Yet.

Machina Labs is changing that. We build intelligent, software-defined factories that produce complex metal structures directly from digital design. By integrating advanced metal forming, robotics, and automated production inside a flexible factory architecture, we enable customers to move from prototype to production in weeks, not years.

Backed by Lockheed Martin, Toyota, and NVIDIA, we're building the manufacturing infrastructure that defense, aerospace, and advanced mobility programs will run on.

If you want to work on hard problems that matter and see them fly, drive, and defend, this is the place.

Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter with a strong focus on software engineering hiring to help scale Machina Labs’ most critical teams.

This role goes beyond filling open roles. You will be responsible for building high-caliber engineering teams that directly impact the company’s ability to execute. You will own full-cycle recruiting across backend, frontend, infrastructure, robotics software, AI and machine learning roles, partnering closely with technical leadership to define hiring strategy and attract top-tier talent.

You will operate as both a strategic partner and hands-on executor, driving sourcing excellence, elevating candidate quality, and ensuring we consistently hire engineers who raise the bar.

This role is responsible for executing recruiting across all functions, while prioritizing critical technical hiring needs across software, infrastructure, robotics software, and AI/ML. You will play a key role in shaping how Machina Labs attracts, engages, and hires top talent in competitive markets.

Success in this role requires a proactive, market-driven approach to recruiting. You will leverage a combination of outbound sourcing, social platforms, talent communities, and employer branding to build consistent pipelines of high-caliber candidates. This is a highly visible role that partners closely with leadership and directly impacts the company’s ability to scale.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting across all roles, with primary focus on software engineering and technical hiring priorities.
  • Build and execute proactive sourcing strategies using LinkedIn, GitHub, social media platforms, professional communities, and referral networks.
  • Develop creative outreach approaches to engage passive candidates and expand talent pipelines beyond traditional channels.
  • Partner with hiring managers to align on role requirements, candidate profiles, and hiring priorities.
  • Drive pipeline quality and consistency for high-impact and hard-to-fill roles.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple searches simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ensure a high-quality candidate experience from initial outreach through offer stage.
  • Maintain accurate tracking, reporting, and pipeline visibility within ATS systems
  • Continuously identify new sourcing channels, tools, and strategies to improve hiring outcomes.
Required Background & Experience:
  • 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with strong emphasis on software engineering hiring.
  • Proven success sourcing and closing passive technical candidates.
  • Deep understanding of software engineering roles and technical skill sets.
  • Experience leveraging multiple sourcing channels including social media, communities, and outbound recruiting.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong organization and ownership.
  • Data-driven mindset with ability to track and improve recruiting performance.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience recruiting in robotics, AI/ML, infrastructure, or hardware-software integrated environments.
  • Background in high-growth or startup environments.
  • Experience building or scaling recruiting strategies and processes.
  • Strong track record hiring senior and specialized technical talent.
  • Experience with employer branding, outbound campaigns, and talent marketing initiatives.
