Accountant at EBS Recruiters LLC – St. Louis, Missouri

The Accountant will support full-cycle accounting operations and work hands-on across core accounting functions. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys working in a smaller, collaborative accounting and finance team and is comfortable operating independently. The position is a contract role with a minimum one-year commitment and the potential to convert to a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform full-cycle accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close
• Support general ledger maintenance and ensure accurate financial reporting
• Utilize advanced Excel skills daily for analysis, reconciliations, and reporting
• Work within a large ERP system to manage accounting data and transactions
• Assist with audits, reporting, and ad hoc accounting projects as needed
• Collaborate closely with finance and accounting team members to support ongoing operations

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required
• 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience
• Experience working with large ERP systems
• Advanced Excel skills
• Hands-on, detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a smaller team environment
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities independently
• Contract availability for a minimum of one year, with potential for permanent hire
