You will provide support to the following locations: Stamford, Hamden and Farmington, CT
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership & Oversight
- Provide direct leadership, coaching, and performance management for all Sonographers and Medical Assistants in the assigned region.
- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, CEAP and venous insufficiency scanning standards, patient prep guidelines, and safety protocols.
- Serve as an escalation point for clinical quality concerns, clinical workflows, or staff-related issues.
Training & Development
- Onboard and train new Sonographers and MAs on VIP workflows, equipment, scanning techniques, and clinic flow.
- Conduct regular field visits to observe, audit, and coach clinical staff.
- Partner with a central training team and clinical supervisors to ensure consistent adoption of SOPs.
Clinic Support & Execution
- Collaborate with the Regional Operations Director to support clinic readiness, throughput, and patient flow.
- Coordinate MA and Sonographer staffing needs, PTO coverage, and schedule changes across sites.
- Partner with Medical Directors and providers to ensure alignment between clinical and operational teams.
Quality Assurance
- Conduct image quality reviews and chart audits to ensure accurate. documentation and protocol adherence.
- Monitor compliance with regulatory, safety, and infection control standards.
- Track clinical KPIs (e.g., scan quality scores, prep time, room turnover)
People & Culture
- Foster a culture of accountability, clinical excellence, and patient-centered care.
- Identify and mentor high-potential clinical staff for leadership or advanced roles.
- Build a strong partnership with providers and administrative leaders across the region.
- Other responsibilities and tasks as assigned.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Regional scan quality audit pass rates.
- Patient throughput and clinical prep timeliness.
- MA and Sonographer retention and engagement.
- Clinical SOP compliance and documentation accuracy.
- Provider satisfaction with clinical staff performance.
- Clinic readiness scores (room setup, supply prep, clinical flow)
Qualifications
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sonographer required, plus at least 2 years of supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
- Experience overseeing or collaborating with Medical Assistants in a clinical environment.
- Strong knowledge of venous insufficiency, CEAP protocol, and ultrasound-based procedures.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel to clinics within the assigned region 3 days per week.
Work Environment & Travel
- Travel to clinics within the assigned region is required 3–4 days per week.
- Home office or administrative time as needed 1–2 days per week.
- Roles may include lifting supplies, supporting clinic setup, and active participation in patient care when needed.

The pay range for this role is:
45 - 50 USD per hour(CT1045_Stamford)
