About Company:

About The Chanler at Cliff Walk

The Chanler is a Forbes Five-Star and Michelin Two Key boutique hotel with just 20 uniquely designed guest rooms overlooking Newport’s iconic Cliff Walk. Set within a historic mansion, the property is celebrated for its warm, genuine hospitality and its ability to create exceptional and memorable guest experiences.

The Chanler is home to two distinct culinary concepts. Cara, our intimate blind-tasting restaurant, offers a refined and immersive dining journey led by the seasons. Remy’s Loose presents bold, French-inspired cuisine with a Rhode Island sensibility in a relaxed and welcoming setting.

In the warmer months, our garden beds supply fresh ingredients directly to the kitchen, and the Wine Garden provides a laid-back coastal escape for enjoying lighter fare and sweeping ocean views.

Working at The Chanler means becoming part of a dedicated team that celebrates craftsmanship, heartfelt service, and the natural beauty of Newport. Here, every detail and every team member plays a meaningful role in creating unforgettable moments for our guests.
