CURRENT OPEN POSITIONS

Morning Star Personal Care Inc. is currently hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for the following two positions:

Stone Mountain, GA 30083— Weekday Evening Shift
Monday–Friday | 3:30 PM–11:30 PM
40 hours per week

What you'll do

• Provide high-quality, person-centered services in accordance with each individual's needs and service plan.

• Promote independence, choice, dignity, safety, and community involvement.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required for the position.

• Follow Morning Star policies, procedures, training requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.

• Communicate professionally with individuals, coworkers, supervisors, families/guardians, and other members of the individual's support team.

• Maintain confidentiality and protect the privacy of the individuals we serve.

• Complete required training, meetings, and ongoing professional development.

• Maintain dependable attendance and arrive on time and prepared to work the full scheduled shift.

• Perform additional responsibilities appropriate to the position as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must meet all education, experience, certification, background, and training requirements applicable to the position.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Dependable, professional, compassionate, and committed to providing high-quality services.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to use electronic systems and technology required for documentation, communication, scheduling, and training.

• Ability to successfully complete all required pre-employment and ongoing employment requirements.
