Job Description
The Patient Care Associate in Radiation Oncology is responsible for assisting the Radiation Therapist in the performance of routine radiation treatment and simulation for patients at CRMC as directed according to established standards and practices. This position is responsible for proper function of the stress treadmill. In addition, this position is responsible for escorting patients to and from the Cancer Center. Additional duties include assisting the technical staff with those tasks, as assigned, associated with the daily operations of the Radiation Oncology area. Other duties as assigned.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required. CNA/CMA experience desired but not required. Certification from a national board is preferred.
BLS within 3 months of hire.
Experience: Hospital or doctor's office experience with medical/surgical patients preferred. Basic computer skills.
