Senior Wiring Harness Builder

What You’ll Do
Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions
Organize and gather materials, tools, and components for efficient workflow
Route, wire, and assemble harnesses using wire layout boards and assembly fixtures
Perform a variety of detailed hand‑assembly operations following precise instructions
Operate semi‑automatic tools such as crimping presses, wire strippers, and wire twisters
Conduct continuity, functional, and quality tests using test fixtures
Solder wires to switches, connectors, and other components
Inspect assemblies for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications
Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑organized workspace
What We’re Looking For
2–4 years of experience in electrical assembly, harness building, or related production work
Minimum 1 year of wiring harness assembly experience
Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent hand dexterity
Ability to read and understand schematics, instructions, and technical documents
Detail‑oriented, motivated, and committed to producing quality work
Strong communication skills and a reliable, positive attitude
Basic math proficiency
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Physical & Visual Requirements
Primarily requires standing and seated work with occasional kneeling, or squatting
Good eyesight and ability to clearly distinguish colors
Repetitive hand and arm motions required

Job Requirements:
Has assembly/production experience and a strong mechanical aptitude.
Motivated and detail oriented.
Proficient in basic math skills.
Possesses good communication skills and a great attitude.
Able to read, write and speak English.
Essential physical & mental requirements:
Much of the work is to be performed in a sitting position.
May occasionally perform duties in a standing, kneeling or squatting position.
Good eyesight and ability to distinguish color is necessary.
Occasionally lifting of about 25lbs.
Requires repetitive motion.
Excellent hand dexterity.
