This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced systems engineer to contribute to the development of advanced cloud infrastructure powering next-generation AI workloads. In this role, you will work on core virtualization technologies that directly impact performance, scalability, and security across large-scale compute environments. You will collaborate with highly skilled engineering teams focused on solving complex challenges in hypervisor optimization, device emulation, and virtualization architecture. The position offers the chance to work closely with open-source communities while influencing the evolution of cutting-edge virtualization systems. Operating within a fast-moving and innovation-driven environment, you will play a key role in building reliable, high-performance infrastructure for demanding AI and cloud applications. This role is ideal for engineers passionate about low-level systems programming, Linux internals, and virtualization technologies.

Accountabilities:
  • Develop and enhance components of the virtualization stack related to KVM hypervisors and QEMU device emulation.
  • Optimize I/O performance for virtualized storage and networking devices.
  • Integrate hypervisor technologies with broader platform services and distributed storage systems.
  • Improve resource allocation efficiency and performance across virtual machine environments.
  • Enhance support and compatibility for guest operating systems and virtualization features.
  • Contribute to the advancement of open-source virtualization technologies through development and collaboration with upstream communities.
  • Implement and strengthen low-level security mechanisms protecting hypervisors and emulators from untrusted code execution.
  • Troubleshoot issues, fix bugs, monitor upstream developments, and maintain platform stability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and stakeholders to deliver scalable infrastructure solutions.
  • Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and architecture improvements within the virtualization ecosystem.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of professional software engineering experience focused on systems-level development.
  • Strong expertise in the C programming language.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Linux systems and virtualization technologies.
  • Proven experience working with QEMU/KVM virtualization environments.
  • Solid understanding of x86 architecture concepts including virtual memory, interrupts, and privilege rings.
  • Experience developing and debugging low-level user-space system software on Linux.
  • Familiarity with performance optimization, debugging tools, and systems analysis methodologies.
  • Understanding of virtualization-related technologies such as PCI, SCSI, and ACPI is considered an advantage.
  • Experience contributing patches to Linux Kernel or QEMU/KVM projects is highly valued.
  • Exposure to ARMv8 architecture and virtualization extensions is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and collaborative mindset within distributed engineering teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong ownership and technical curiosity.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation package.
  • Flexible working environment supporting work-life balance.
  • Career growth and continuous learning opportunities.
  • Exposure to innovative AI and cloud infrastructure projects with global impact.
  • Collaborative, engineering-driven culture focused on innovation and technical excellence.
  • Opportunity to contribute to large-scale open-source and virtualization technologies.
  • International work environment with highly skilled global teams.
  • High level of ownership and autonomy in technical decision-making.
  • Dynamic and fast-growing environment shaping the future of AI infrastructure.
