In this role, you will act as a strategic bridge between business and technology, designing high-level solution and business architectures that support critical initiatives in financial crime prevention within a large banking environment.
You will be responsible for building end-to-end business and solution views, translating complex business needs into scalable, secure, and efficient architectural models.
The position involves defining architectural standards, guiding solution design, and ensuring alignment with corporate architecture principles and strategic objectives.
You will work closely with multidisciplinary architecture teams, contributing to a collaborative chapter focused on innovation, reuse, and technology evolution.
This is a highly strategic role where you will influence enterprise decisions, promote architectural consistency, and drive digital transformation initiatives.
You will also play a key role in simplifying complexity, enabling knowledge sharing, and fostering alignment between business and engineering teams.
- Develop and maintain the portfolio of standard solutions aligned with corporate architecture, internal policies, and industry best practices.
- Build and maintain business and solution architectures, including AS-IS and TO-BE views of processes, capabilities, and value streams.
- Define high-level solution designs based on architectural principles, patterns, and strategic technology guidelines.
- Identify opportunities for reuse of APIs, components, and platforms, promoting architectural efficiency and standardization.
- Define and track architecture KPIs, ensuring governance and continuous improvement of solution reuse and design quality.
- Conduct proof of concepts (POCs) to evaluate new technologies and validate architectural approaches.
- Collaborate with business, engineering, security, data, and integration architects within a cross-functional architecture chapter.
- Identify dependencies, synergies, and optimization opportunities across initiatives and systems.
- Define architectural standards and guide engineering teams on system structure, modules, and integrations.
- Document architecture designs, integration flows, and technical-business mappings across systems and vendors.
- Act as a key interface between business and IT, ensuring alignment between strategic goals and technical execution.
Requirements:
- Experience in Business Architecture, Solution Architecture, or Enterprise Architecture roles.
- Strong knowledge of architecture frameworks such as BIAN, TOGAF, IASA, Zachman, or BizBok.
- Experience with architecture documentation tools and models such as C4 Model, ArchiMate, or Bizzdesign.
- Familiarity with business modeling tools such as BSC, SWOT, Canvas, and BABOK practices.
- Strong understanding of APIs, REST, microservices, ESB, and cloud-native architectures.
- Knowledge of design patterns, DDD, and reactive architecture principles.
- Experience with distributed systems and microservices concepts (service discovery, scalability, resilience, etc.).
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills to simplify complex business and technical scenarios.
- Experience working in agile environments and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to communicate complex architectural concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Nice to have: experience in financial crime prevention, fraud prevention, or information security domains.
