JOB TITLE: Recruitment and Intake Navigator

REPORTS TO: Lead Program Specialist
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt/Hourly
CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time

JOB SUMMARY Recruit, screen, and enroll eligible youth into WIOA Youth programs, JMG and FCSYEP. Supports program participation and engagement. Facilitates career-focused programming, integrating recruitment, career readiness, employment pathways, and soft skill development. Actively recruits both participants and employer partners to support engagement and opportunities. The role also supports outreach, event coordination, and program resource development.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Although this role is largely sedentary, the employee must occasionally lift and/or move audio/visual and other equipment weighing up to 50 pounds for various events/activities. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, sit, and frequently use hands and to talk or hear. Some filing may be required, which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, move office equipment, and bend or stand as necessary.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environmental characteristics described here are representative of those employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. - The noise level in the work environment is at times moderately loud with little discomfort due to noise, dirt, dust and the like. This role routinely involves standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
