Position Summary
The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for developing customer relationships, identifying sales opportunities, supporting customers in the field, and promoting Red E products and services throughout an assigned territory. This is a customer-facing role focused on driving sales growth, supporting customer success, and providing technical solutions that help improve equipment performance.
This role works independently and collaboratively to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high-quality standard.
Travel Requirements
This role requires consistent travel throughout an assigned territory. Team members can expect to travel approximately 40–60% of the time visiting customers, inspecting equipment, supporting service needs, and building relationships.
This position is remote-based following successful completion of training. New team members should expect to complete approximately 6–12 months of training in Fargo, North Dakota before transitioning to a remote territory assignment. Travel schedules may vary based on customer needs and seasonal demands. This role requires a high level of comfort working in a field-based and travel-heavy environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within an assigned territory.
• Qualify leads and support sales pipeline development.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, dealers, and industry partners.
• Visit customer locations to inspect equipment and recommend repair, service, or product solutions.
• Support customer needs by troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical equipment issues.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sales teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Assist with product demonstrations, testing, and customer education activities.
• Support marketing initiatives and document campaign and customer feedback results.
• Maintain accurate customer records, territory activity reports, and sales documentation.
• Occasionally perform equipment repairs or support service activities at customer locations.
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high-quality standard.
• Maintain accurate and organized work practices.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.

• Farming, agricultural equipment, mechanical, or related industry experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability and willingness to travel approximately 40–60% of the time.
