Systems in Motion. Driving Technology That Powers Performance.

If you’re an organized, business-minded technology professional who thrives at the intersection of systems, people, and process, The Blackhawk Group is seeking a Digital Transformation Project Manager to help lead key initiatives across our growing aviation platform.

This critical role will support the implementation of an enterprise resource planning (“ERP”) system, while also managing the development and rollout of our customer portal. You will work cross-functionally with Operations, Maintenance, Finance, Sales, leadership, and external technology partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, on scope, and with strong user adoption.

You will help translate business needs into technology solutions, coordinate project plans, manage stakeholders, track deliverables, and ensure systems are implemented in a way that improves visibility, efficiency, and customer experience across the organization.

If you enjoy bringing structure to complex projects, improving business processes, and helping teams successfully adopt new technology, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

ERP Implementation & Systems Project Management

• Lead day-to-day project coordination for the implementation of a new ERP system across The Blackhawk Group
• Partner with internal stakeholders to define business requirements, workflows, data needs, reporting needs, and system configuration priorities
• Coordinate project timelines, milestones, deliverables, risks, and dependencies with internal teams and external vendors
• Facilitate meetings, status updates, working sessions, testing sessions, and implementation checkpoints
• Support data migration planning, validation, cleanup, and coordination between legacy systems and Veryon
• Track issues, decisions, open items, and change requests throughout the implementation process
• Help document new processes, system workflows, user guides, and standard operating procedures
• Coordinate user acceptance testing, feedback collection, and issue resolution
• Support training plans, rollout schedules, and post-go-live stabilization activities
• Ensure the ERP implementation supports operational needs across maintenance, inventory, finance, sales, customer support, and leadership reporting

Customer Portal Development

• Manage the planning, development, testing, and rollout of The Blackhawk Group’s customer portal
• Work with leadership, Sales, Operations, and customers as needed to define portal requirements and desired user experience
• Coordinate with internal IT resources, vendors, developers, and third-party partners to ensure portal functionality is delivered effectively
• Help define portal features such as customer account access, project visibility, service updates, documentation access, communication workflows, and reporting
• Track portal development milestones, testing cycles, issue logs, enhancements, and launch readiness
• Ensure the portal is user-friendly, secure, scalable, and aligned with company goals for customer experience

Cross-Functional Coordination & Change Management

• Serve as a central point of coordination between business teams, IT resources, vendors, and leadership
• Translate business needs into clear project requirements and actionable tasks
• Communicate project status, risks, decisions, and next steps clearly and consistently
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements that support better system adoption and operational efficiency
• Help teams prepare for change through training, documentation, communication, and hands-on support
• Promote accountability by ensuring project owners, vendors, and stakeholders complete assigned deliverables on time

Reporting, Documentation & Continuous Improvement

• Maintain project plans, dashboards, timelines, meeting notes, risk logs, issue trackers, and implementation documentation
• Develop and distribute regular project status reports for leadership and key stakeholders
• Support system governance, access planning, documentation standards, and long-term process ownership
• Assist with future technology initiatives, integrations, system enhancements, and digital transformation projects
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications and Skills

• 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in IT, systems implementation, ERP, software development, or business transformation
• Experience managing cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders, vendors, and business teams
• Strong understanding of business systems, process improvement, and technology implementation best practices

• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to create and manage project plans, timelines, action items, risks, and status reports

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams
• Experience using project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Monday.com, ClickUp or similar platforms
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing ERP, aviation maintenance, inventory, accounting, or operational management systems
• Experience managing the creation of a web-based customer portal, or other application development projects
• Familiarity with data migration, system integrations, user acceptance testing, and change management
• Experience in aviation, aerospace, manufacturing, maintenance, field service, or multi-location operations
• Project Management Professional certification, Certified ScrumMaster certification, or other project management training

Who You Are
