Director of Digital Workplace & End User Services

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Director of Digital Workplace & End User Services in United States.

This role is a strategic IT leadership position responsible for redefining how employees interact with technology across a global, fast-scaling organization. You will transform traditional end-user services into a modern, product-led digital workplace powered by automation, AI, and seamless user experiences. The position focuses on building a “zero-touch” IT environment where devices, services, and workflows are highly automated and self-healing. You will lead initiatives that elevate employee productivity by embedding intelligent tools directly into daily workflows. A strong emphasis is placed on digital employee experience, ensuring technology feels intuitive, invisible, and empowering. You will also oversee enterprise-wide service desk operations, AV environments, and lifecycle management. This is a high-impact leadership role shaping the future of workplace technology at scale.

Accountabilities:
  • Define and execute the strategy for a modern, AI-enabled digital workplace that integrates intelligent agents and automation into employee workflows.
  • Lead the transformation toward a zero-touch IT operating model, automating device lifecycle management, software distribution, patching, and routine support activities.
  • Oversee Digital Employee Experience (DEX) initiatives, implementing sentiment-based and experience-driven metrics to improve usability and satisfaction.
  • Manage global service desk operations and ITSM platforms, improving self-service capabilities, ticket resolution, and service quality at scale.
  • Define and maintain enterprise AV and hybrid meeting standards, ensuring consistent, high-quality collaboration experiences across offices and events.
  • Own lifecycle management processes including procurement, provisioning, asset management, and secure decommissioning of IT hardware and software.
  • Lead internal teams and external vendors, ensuring performance, cost efficiency, and continuous operational improvement.
  • Manage IT tools as a product portfolio, iterating based on user feedback and aligning enhancements with employee needs and business goals.
  • Partner with Information Security to ensure endpoint compliance, IAM integration, and alignment with security and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive cultural and operational change to support adoption of AI-driven workflows and modern digital workplace capabilities.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of IT leadership experience, including at least 2+ years in a Director-level role in digital workplace, end-user services, or infrastructure.
  • Strong experience designing and managing modern endpoint environments (Intune, macOS/Windows management, VDI).
  • Proven ability to implement automation and AI-driven solutions that improve IT operations and employee experience.
  • Experience managing ITSM platforms and maturing service desk operations in large, complex organizations.
  • Background in AV systems, enterprise collaboration tools, and hybrid meeting infrastructure.
  • Strong product mindset with experience managing internal tools or platforms as evolving products.
  • Demonstrated success in leading organizational change and driving adoption of new technologies and workflows.
  • Strong executive communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience with enterprise networking concepts (SD-WAN, ZTNA, wireless) is a plus.
  • Strong leadership capability with a track record of building and developing high-performing, inclusive teams.
Benefits:
  • Annual base salary range: $138,432 – $247,200 USD, with eligibility for performance-based bonus and equity (RSUs).
  • Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, vision, and behavioral health coverage.
  • Paid parental leave and generous time-off policies to support work-life balance.
  • Professional development stipend and career growth opportunities in a high-growth tech environment.
  • Equity participation with ongoing refresh grants based on performance.
  • Flexible remote-friendly work model with hybrid options depending on role requirements.
  • Inclusive, global culture focused on innovation, collaboration, and long-term impact.
