This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the deployment and commissioning of advanced electric vehicle charging infrastructure within a fast-evolving clean energy environment.
You will oversee end-to-end project execution, ensuring high-quality delivery of complex EV charging systems across multiple client sites.
Working in a highly collaborative and technical setting, you will act as a key decision-maker for field engineering and implementation activities.
The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on technical problem-solving, including advanced system troubleshooting and integration support.
You will coordinate cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and ensure alignment with quality, safety, and performance standards.
With approximately 40% travel, this position offers both remote flexibility and meaningful on-site engagement in high-impact projects.
It is ideal for an experienced engineering leader passionate about sustainable mobility and large-scale infrastructure deployment.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of EV charging deployment projects, ensuring timely installation, commissioning, and handover of systems.
  • Act as the primary technical decision-maker, resolving escalations and optimizing workflows across project lifecycles.
  • Oversee planning, execution, and completion of field engineering activities, ensuring compliance with technical and quality standards.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting support for complex electrical, system, and integration issues in EV infrastructure environments.
  • Manage integration and commissioning of EV charging systems, including coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reliability, and scalability of deployment operations.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers, contributing to capability development and knowledge sharing across teams.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, reports, and project deliverables.
  • Deliver training and guidance on service procedures, commissioning practices, and maintenance standards.
  • Support on-site interventions for high-priority or complex installations when required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in site engineering, field engineering, or technical project management roles.
  • Strong background in electrical systems, commissioning, and EV charging or DC power systems.
  • Proven experience leading technical teams and managing complex infrastructure deployment projects.
  • Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in high-complexity technical environments.
  • Experience working across full project lifecycles, from planning to commissioning and final delivery.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience applying structured engineering practices, documentation standards, and quality controls.
  • Familiarity with agile or structured delivery environments and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to mentor engineers and contribute to technical leadership and best practices.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% as required.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English is considered an asset.
Benefits
  • Competitive compensation aligned with senior engineering responsibilities.
  • Long-term contract opportunity with stability and potential for extension.
  • Remote-first work arrangement with periodic travel for site-based activities.
  • Exposure to large-scale EV infrastructure and clean energy transformation projects.
  • Opportunity to lead high-impact deployments in a rapidly growing industry.
  • Collaborative environment with strong technical mentorship and leadership opportunities.
  • Professional growth through complex systems engineering and field innovation initiatives.
