This is a highly technical opportunity focused on building advanced optimization solutions for complex, large-scale business problems.
You will design a two-tier optimization engine combining heuristic algorithms with Mixed-Integer Programming (MIP).
The work will help prioritize markets, allocate budgets, and maximize audience impression delivery while respecting real-world constraints.
You will translate business objectives into mathematical formulations and production-ready optimization solutions.
The role involves close collaboration with domain experts and non-technical stakeholders in an agile, two-week sprint environment.
You will work with modern cloud technologies and advanced optimization techniques to create scalable, measurable business impact.

- Design and implement heuristic algorithms for market prioritization and budget allocation across multiple markets.
- Develop Mixed-Integer Programming (MIP) optimization models to maximize audience impression delivery within individual markets.
- Incorporate inventory, pricing, business rules, and other operational constraints into optimization models.
- Apply multi-objective optimization techniques to balance competing metrics, priorities, and constraints.
- Translate business requirements and stakeholder needs into robust mathematical formulations and optimization strategies.
- Develop scalable solutions for large-scale combinatorial optimization problems.
- Work closely with domain experts and non-technical stakeholders to co-develop, validate, and refine optimization solutions.
- Implement and deploy optimization solutions in production environments, ensuring reliability and scalability.
- Leverage AWS and Python to develop and support optimization workloads.
- Participate actively in an agile development environment, collaborating within two-week Scrum sprints.
- Continuously evaluate and improve algorithms, models, and solution performance based on business needs and real-world results.
- Solid professional experience in Data Science, Operations Research, Optimization Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Strong expertise in Mixed-Integer Programming (MIP) and optimization solvers such as Gurobi, CPLEX, or equivalent.
- Proven experience designing heuristic algorithms for large-scale combinatorial optimization problems.
- Demonstrated experience delivering optimization solutions into production environments.
- Strong understanding of multi-objective optimization and the ability to balance multiple metrics, business priorities, and constraints.
- Advanced Python programming skills.
- Solid hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and environments.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into mathematical models and practical optimization solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with domain experts and non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluent English, including conversational communication and technical documentation.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and two-week sprint cycles.
- Familiarity with AWS Lambda for deploying optimization workloads is a plus.
- Experience in advertising, media planning, or marketing optimization is desirable.
- Knowledge of media metrics such as CPM, GRP, impressions, reach, and frequency is a plus.
- Experience with parallel computing and techniques for making optimization workloads more scalable is desirable.
