This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Organizational Learning Advisor, Commercial based in Brazil.
This is a strategic, business-facing learning and development role supporting a global commercial organization in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
You will shape the learning strategy across business development, proposals and contracts, marketing, feasibility, and commercial operations.
The role offers the opportunity to build a commercial learning portfolio from the ground up, establishing frameworks, curricula, processes, and standards.
You will partner directly with senior leaders and subject matter experts to identify capability gaps and translate business needs into impactful learning solutions.
Your work will help accelerate employee productivity, strengthen client-facing capabilities, improve proposal quality, and contribute to commercial performance.
The position combines strategy, instructional design, facilitation, change management, and data-driven measurement of learning impact.

- Lead the learning and enablement strategy for the commercial organization, aligning programs with growth objectives, win rates, client satisfaction, and broader business priorities.
- Build the commercial learning framework from the ground up, including competency models, role profiles, learning paths, content standards, intake processes, and governance structures.
- Design and deliver onboarding and ramp-up journeys that help new commercial employees become productive more quickly.
- Develop role-based curricula and performance support covering selling skills, service-line and therapeutic knowledge, RFI/RFP development, bid defense, pricing and budgeting fundamentals, and client communication.
- Facilitate engaging training sessions, workshops, and learning experiences for client-facing teams.
- Conduct needs analyses with commercial stakeholders to identify capability gaps and develop targeted learning interventions.
- Create and maintain learning content, including tutorials, workshops, e-learning modules, and other performance-support resources when dedicated design support is unavailable.
- Support change management and technology onboarding initiatives related to commercial systems, processes, and go-to-market programs.
- Build strong partnerships with commercial leaders, subject matter experts, People Partners, instructional designers, LMS teams, and other internal stakeholders.
- Establish methods for measuring learning effectiveness, adoption, compliance, and ROI, connecting learning outcomes to metrics such as ramp time, win rates, and proposal quality.
- Gather learner and stakeholder feedback and continuously improve learning programs, content, and delivery approaches.
- Support the communication, launch, measurement, and ongoing effectiveness of the commercial learning portfolio.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities effectively in a dynamic global environment and travel as required to support teams, training, workshops, meetings, and events.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources Management, Education, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in learning and development, sales enablement, or commercial training, preferably within a CRO, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other client-facing services environment.
- Proven experience designing and implementing training programs based on adult learning principles for experienced, client-facing professionals.
- Demonstrated experience building a learning program or function from the ground up, including establishing frameworks, standards, structures, and processes.
- Experience partnering with commercial functions such as business development, proposals and contracts, marketing, and feasibility to identify and address learning needs.
- Strong understanding of the commercial lifecycle, including lead generation, RFI/RFP responses, bid defense, contract award, and ongoing client relationship management.
- Strong business acumen and an understanding of the CRO commercial model, drug development lifecycle, and factors clients consider when selecting partners.
- Solid instructional design and LMS management experience, with familiarity with commercial systems such as CRM, proposal and pricing platforms, and content repositories considered an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate learning effectiveness, adoption, compliance, and ROI and connect these outcomes to business performance.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and customer service skills, with the ability to build credibility and influence senior stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, global, matrixed environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including domestic and international travel.
