The team at South Point Dental Centre located in Surrey, BC are looking for a passionate, hard-working Sterilization Assistant on a full-time basis.

The ideal Sterilization Assistant/ Floater for our team will be an essential part of the team by ensuring all dental instruments and equipment are disinfected and sterilized appropriately. The person we are looking for is excited to empower dental providers to deliver the finest and safest care to patients by taking ownership of the integrity of sanitation and infection control procedures and policies.

SCHEDULE:

• 32-40 hours per week
• Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Previous education or training in Medical device reprocessing, dental assisting, or a similar program is considered an asset but not required.
• Experience: Previous dental or sterilization experience is an asset but not required. We welcome entry-level applicants and are willing to train the right candidate.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow infection prevention and sterilization protocols
• Experience with dental practice management software such as [Tracker] is considered an asset
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families
• Reliable, organized, and willing to learn
