This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an HR Admin - Data Extraction based in United States.
This is a temporary, part-time opportunity supporting a lean Human Resources team during a period of focused operational work.
You’ll be responsible for accurately extracting, organizing, and maintaining employee documents and HR data from internal systems.
The role also provides exposure to a broad range of HR activities, including onboarding, benefits administration, reporting, audits, recruiting, and offboarding.
Attention to detail and confidentiality will be essential as you work with sensitive employee and personnel information.
You’ll use tools such as Excel, HR systems, and AI technologies to complete tasks efficiently while applying sound human judgment.
The position is well suited to someone organized, adaptable, and eager to contribute across a variety of HR projects.
Working remotely with East Coast hours, you’ll collaborate closely with a small HR team while taking ownership of assigned responsibilities.
- Extract, organize, and file pay statements, employee records, and other documents from HR systems with a high level of accuracy.
- Provide administrative support across core HR operations, including data entry, onboarding, benefits administration, reporting, auditing, personnel record management, recruiting, and offboarding.
- Maintain accurate personnel files and protect the integrity and completeness of employee data.
- Assist with HR projects and provide additional administrative support as priorities arise.
- Work efficiently with large volumes of documents and data while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
- Use AI tools responsibly to support research, workflow, reporting, and administrative tasks where appropriate.
- Apply human review and judgment when using AI-generated outputs, particularly when handling sensitive or confidential information.
- Collaborate with HR colleagues while also managing assigned tasks independently.
- Perform other duties and administrative responsibilities as needed.
- Relevant experience in Human Resources, administration, customer service, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of HR practices, processes, and applicable employment or labor laws.
- Demonstrated ability to enter, extract, organize, and manage data and documents quickly and accurately.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with HR information systems (HRIS); experience with UKG/UltiPro or Rippling is a plus.
- Demonstrated knowledge of AI tools and their practical application across research, ideation, reporting, presentations, workflow management, and related business activities.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities.
- Ability to handle sensitive employee information with discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Strong written, verbal, and customer service communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a small, collaborative team.
- Responsible approach to AI usage, including evaluating accuracy, protecting confidential information, and applying appropriate human oversight.
- Ability to successfully complete a criminal background check if selected as a finalist.
- Availability to work remotely from the United States during East Coast business hours.
- $16–$25 per hour, commensurate with experience.
- Part-time schedule of up to 25 hours per week.
- Temporary assignment lasting approximately 5–8 weeks.
