Job Description:

HouseMax Funding is looking for a self-driven, hardworking Marketing Associate who is ready to grow their marketing career in a fast-paced environment. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, taking ownership of their work, and jumping in wherever needed.

Our marketing team operates with a startup mentality — we move quickly, manage a high volume of projects, support a growing sales team, and constantly look for new ways to drive business. We’re looking for someone with a strong work ethic who can keep up, stay organized, and take initiative without needing constant direction.

Requirements:
  • Write, build, and schedule 30+ email campaigns and sequences in HubSpot each month.
  • Write and execute SMS/text campaigns.
  • Manage campaign lists, scheduling, segmentation, personalization, and deployment.
  • Assist with additional email, text, and supplemental campaigns for other departments as needed.
  • Provide ongoing marketing support to our 9 Area Vice Presidents — and growing.
  • Help develop and execute localized marketing initiatives for individual markets.
  • Plan and coordinate events for our Area Vice Presidents across the country.
  • Support prospecting initiatives and other sales-driven marketing projects.
  • Manage and maintain the HouseMax Funding content calendar.
  • Coordinate and publish content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Monitor and respond to social media comments and DMs.
  • Help identify opportunities for new social content and campaigns.
  • Keep posting schedules organized and ensure content goes live on time.
  • Assist in creating marketing graphics and digital assets in Canva.
  • Take ownership of The Content Factory (podcast) media assets and communication.
  • Help develop creative for Google Ads and other paid campaigns.
  • Assist with additional creative projects and marketing collateral as needed.
  • Maintain accurate reporting for key marketing initiatives, including - Social media performance, Prospecting gifts, Loyalty gifts, and Third-party/vendor KPIs
  • Help track marketing activity and results to understand what's working and where we can improve.
  • Help coordinate our prospecting gift program from start to finish.
  • Pack and prepare prospecting boxes for shipment.
  • Audit and order more supplies as needed.
  • Assist with loyalty gifts and other borrower-focused marketing initiatives.
  • Keep accurate records so we can track results and ROI from these programs.
  • Assist with supplemental campaigns and special projects for other HouseMax departments as needed.
  • Manage and coordinate marketing request submissions to ensure projects are completed accurately and on time.
  • Be willing to jump into new projects, learn new systems, and help solve problems as the company continues to grow.

Job Requirements

  • 1–3 years of marketing experience preferred; strong internships or hands-on marketing experience may also qualify.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Advertising, or a related field preferred
  • Basic understanding of social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Proficient in Canva.
  • Basic Excel and Spreadsheet skills.
  • Experience with HubSpot or other CRM/email marketing platforms preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially when working with contact lists, email campaigns, reporting, and personalized communications.
  • Strong written communication and copywriting skills, with the ability to write emails, text campaigns, social media copy, and other marketing materials.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, deadlines, markets, and projects at the same time.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-output environment where priorities can shift quickly.
  • Self-starter who can take a project, figure out the next steps, and move it forward without constant supervision.

Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, and occasional evening and weekend work will be required as job duties demand.

Work Environment

The majority of the tasks associated with this position will be performed indoors, however, some duties will require the ability to function outdoors with exposure to seasonal weather conditions for short periods of time. Travel is up to 5% of the time.
