Job Title: Physician and APP Consultant

Job Summary:
As a Physician and APP Consultant at OnCall Solutions, you will play a critical role in sourcing, recruiting, and placing healthcare professionals, primarily physicians and advanced practitioners, across various specialties. This role requires close collaboration with internal teams, including credentialing and account management, to identify, evaluate, and engage clinicians for locum tenens and float pool positions. Your contributions will be key in ensuring a positive clinician experience while driving the company’s growth through successful and timely clinician placements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Recruitment:
- Proactively source and recruit physicians and advanced practitioners for both new and existing client accounts.
- Build and maintain a comprehensive national pipeline of clinicians to meet staffing demands at OnCall Solutions' contracted healthcare facilities.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to match and place clinicians in locum tenens and float pool positions that align with their skills and client needs.
Sourcing and Candidate Engagement:
- Utilize a variety of sourcing methods, including internal databases, professional networks, cold calling, emails, and conferences, to effectively recruit clinicians.
- Qualify candidates by thoroughly understanding their experience, specialties, and preferences to ensure alignment with client opportunities.
- Match clinicians to appropriate client assignments, ensuring a mutually beneficial fit for both the clinician and the healthcare facility.
Clinician Relationship Management:
- Set clear expectations for clinicians, guiding them through the application and documentation submission processes to ensure timely compliance for each assignment.
- Maintain full accountability for your clinicians throughout the entire recruitment lifecycle, from initial engagement to presentation and successful placement.
- Partner with the credentialing team to obtain required documentation, ensuring it is submitted promptly and meets compliance standards.
- Conduct regular check-ins and provide continuous support throughout each clinician’s assignment to ensure a smooth and rewarding experience.
Technology and Data Management:
- Use the ATS daily to track recruitment activities, maintain candidate pipelines, and document all interactions with clinicians.
- Ensure accurate and timely updates on recruitment efforts, candidate statuses, and clinician onboarding.
Client Collaboration:
- Partner closely with account managers and other client stakeholders to coordinate interviews, assess candidates, and confirm placements.
- Align clinicians effectively with client needs, ensuring the highest standards of fit and performance for both the healthcare provider and the facility.
Performance Goals:
- Meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) such as number of recruiter screens, submissions, presentations, clinician placements, booked shifts, and overall GP targets.
- Consistently achieve revenue goals by ensuring timely and effective clinician placements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience (1-2 years in recruitment, staffing, or a related field).
- Strong ability to build and nurture long-term relationships, with a focus on creating value for both clinicians and clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and professionally.
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
