The Opportunity

As a Director of Accounting at 8020 Consulting, you’ll serve as a senior accounting and finance advisor to our clients, leveraging your technical expertise and leadership experience to solve complex challenges and deliver meaningful business impact.

You’ll lead high-priority accounting and financial reporting initiatives, partner directly with client leadership, and help organizations navigate periods of growth, transformation, and change. Engagements may span technical accounting, financial reporting, close optimization, audit readiness, internal controls, accounting systems, and other critical initiatives within the CFO’s organization.

Experience partnering with CFOs, Controllers, and other senior executives
A track record of improving accounting processes, controls, and reporting
Experience with ERP and accounting technologies such as NetSuite, BlackLine, SAP, or similar platforms
The ability to quickly assess complex situations, identify opportunities, and develop practical solutions
Strong client management and relationship-building skills
A proactive, collaborative, and solution-oriented approach
The ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
