HISTOTECHNICIAN II - PATHOLOGY LAB in OPELIKA, Alabama at East Alabama Medical Center

Receives specimens by verifying patient and specimen information. Prepares histologic slides from tissue sections for microscopic examination and diagnosis by the Pathologist. May study slides under the microscope to detect deviation from norm and report abnormalities for further study; as well as to evaluate stain control slides. Work is performed in accordance with standard laboratory practices and procedures.
