Job Description
Primary Purpose: The purpose of the Behavioral Health role is to provide administrative support and facilitate patient engagement within the Adolescent Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), ensuring smooth operations and fostering a supportive treatment environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma as evidenced on resume
Knowledge of mental health/healthcare
Preferred: Experience working with adolescents preferred
Preferred: Google Suite & EMR experience preferred

Essential Functions:
Exhibit professional and respectful communication with patients, family members, colleagues, and clinical staff
Provide auxiliary support to the Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) teams, including the managers, clinicians, administrative staff, and adolescent patients
Actively participate in teen groups to assist with patient engagement, monitoring and managing safety and behavioral needs, and supporting morning academic time
Facilitate the completion of daily electronic questionnaires with patients and promptly communicate safety concerns to the managers and individual providers
Prepare and maintain group rooms for sessions
Attend weekly multidisciplinary treatment team meetings for the programs.
Manage inventory for group supplies
Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of group rooms and office space, including supplies, furniture, and equipment
Provide basic first aid
Provide support to other areas of the organization as needed
Provide administrative coverage for the Program Coordinator when needed:
Including but not limited to scheduling group and session appointments for patients, arranging video calls, managing patient check-in/out procedures, uploading paperwork, and promptly responding to email inquiries comprehensively and courteously
Executing clerical responsibilities including copying, mailing, faxing, scanning, and organizing documentation
Physical Demands:
The ability to respond quickly to sounds (phone’s, alarms, etc.)
The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations.
The ability to bend and lift objects that are no more than 25 pounds.

Work Environment: The work environment is conducted in an office setting.
