You will lead the design and delivery of an AI-enabled intranet and digital employee experience platform used across a large, complex organization. The position combines technical depth with people leadership, requiring you to guide engineering teams while partnering closely with HR, IT, communications, and other business stakeholders. You will play a key role in shaping how employees access information, collaborate, and engage through modern digital tools. The environment is highly cross-functional and innovation-driven, with strong emphasis on scalability, security, and user-centric design. This is a high-impact role where your decisions directly influence productivity and engagement at enterprise scale. It also offers the opportunity to apply AI technologies to redefine the employee digital experience.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will lead engineering teams responsible for building and evolving enterprise digital employee experience platforms, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. You will drive technical strategy, oversee delivery, and partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into modern intranet and collaboration solutions.

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise intranet and employee experience platforms.
  • Manage, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers, fostering innovation, accountability, and technical excellence.
  • Collaborate with HR, IT, communications, and business teams to define requirements and prioritize platform features.
  • Drive architectural decisions and ensure best practices in software engineering, security, performance, and scalability.
  • Oversee integration and vendor management for third-party tools such as SharePoint, Microsoft Viva, and ServiceNow.
  • Leverage analytics, user feedback, and platform performance data to guide continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise standards including data privacy, accessibility, and IT governance.
Requirements

This role requires extensive experience in software engineering leadership, with a strong background in enterprise platforms, digital workplace solutions, and modern web technologies. The ideal candidate combines technical architecture expertise with strong people management and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • 9+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Proven experience building and managing enterprise intranet or employee experience platforms.
  • Strong proficiency in modern web technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Node.js, .NET, REST APIs).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and DevOps practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead engineering teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong understanding of AI applications in digital platforms (e.g., NLP, personalization, intelligent automation).
  • Experience with enterprise tools such as Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, or similar ecosystems.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
