Modern Exterminating is hiring a motivated and professional Termite & Moisture Control Sales Representative to join our growing team.

What You’ll DoAs a Termite & Moisture Control Sales Representative, you will meet with residential and commercial customers to inspect properties, identify termite and moisture concerns, and recommend customized treatment and protection solutions.
Responsibilities- Conduct termite and moisture inspections
- Identify termite activity, moisture issues, and conducive conditions
- Educate homeowners on treatment and prevention options
- Prepare and present customized proposals
- Close sales and build long-term customer relationships
- Follow up on pending proposals and leads
- Maintain accurate inspection and sales records
- Help customers, whether a homeowner or a business owner, protect one of their biggest investments
We offer a combination of base pay plus an aggressive monthly commission structure with uncapped earning potential.
Commission Structure
- 8% commission on monthly sales of $10,000+
- 10% commission on monthly sales of $15,000+
- 12% commission on monthly sales of $20,000+
- 14% commission on monthly sales of $30,000+
During peak pest and termite season (typically April through October), representatives primarily work company-generated leads and inspection opportunities provided by the office.
However, this is not strictly an “inside lead only” sales role.
Representatives are also encouraged to identify additional opportunities while in the field and may recommend and sell additional pest control services when appropriate for the customer’s needs. This creates additional earning potential while helping homeowners and business owners fully protect their property.
During the winter months, successful representatives often take a more proactive and creative approach to generating opportunities, building referral relationships, networking, and growing their pipeline.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both relationship-driven sales and the challenge of building business while creating long-term customer relationships.

- Sales experience preferred
- Pest control, termite, moisture control, HVAC, roofing, foundation repair, or home services experience is a plus
- Strong communication and closing skills
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Ability to build trust with homeowners and business owners
- Comfortable working independently
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong follow-up habits
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record
- Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and MVR review
