We are currently seeking an experienced:

HOME CARE & HOSPICE REGIONAL CLINICAL DIRECTOR

Job Summary:

  • Maintain knowledge of home care and hospice regulations, accreditation standards, licensure requirements, federal and state laws in the states in which Liberty operates.
  • Assist and coach Homecare and Hospice Administrators in developing annual office budgets. Work with Administrators to ensure budgeted goals are met.
  • Evaluate operations of a Home Care and Hospice branch using Liberty metrics, i.e., clinical, quality and financial.
  • Develop work plans to correct/improve office performance in conjunction with the Administrators and Clinical Managers.
  • Develop and coordinate Administrator and Clinical Manager mentoring, training and orientation programs in conjunction with the Staff Development Department and Vice President for Homecare and Hospice.
  • Assist in providing oversight, direction and support to the Administrators in directing the agency’s functions regarding following accepted standards of practice and agency policy and procedure.
  • Assist Vice President of Home Care and Hospice Services as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Requires RN licensure in the states in which Liberty operates and successful completion of nursing education from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of management experience and a minimum of two years clinical nursing experience to include home health care.
  • Requires in-depth knowledge of home care and hospice regulations, accreditation standards, licensure requirements, federal and state laws in the states in which Liberty operates. Must have experience in home care and hospice.
  • Must possess the ability to analyze financial and statistical data.
  • Must demonstrate high-level problem-solving and reasoning skills.
  • Must be able to use a personal computer and have a working knowledge of a variety of computer applications (Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Must be able to speak clearly and effectively, communicate orally and in writing, and be able to demonstrate English language proficiency.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact and communicate in a professional and tactful manner with all internal and external customers.
  • Must be CPR certified.
  • Minimum of 12 hours of continuing education required annually.
