The Certified Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading electrical systems and equipment throughout the manufacturing facility. This position supports production operations by ensuring electrical equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes and company standards. The Certified Electrician works independently and collaboratively with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to minimize downtime and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Job Functions:
· Support mechanical maintenance activities as needed.
· Assist with facility maintenance projects and equipment relocations.
· Participate in safety committees, training activities, and process improvement initiatives.
· Perform other related duties as assigned to support manufacturing operations.
· Support other production areas as needed.
· Assist in general shop housekeeping and material handling.

Schedule:
The standard schedule consists of 10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday or 12-hour shifts Friday through Sunday. Flexibility is required to work evenings, weekends, and additional hours as needed to meet workload demands.

Required Qualifications:
· High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Journeyman Electrician License required; Master Electrician License preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of industrial, manufacturing, or commercial electrical experience.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motor controls, electrical distribution systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documents.
• Experience using electrical testing equipment including multimeters, megohmmeters, and related diagnostic tools.
Knowledge of NFPA 70E, NEC, OSHA regulations, and electrical safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Must be a U.S citizen.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting and programming.
• Experience with automated manufacturing equipment and robotics.
• Technical certification in industrial maintenance, electrical technology, or related field.
Physical Requirements:
· Standing: More than 2/3 of the time
· Walking: 1/3 to 2/3 of the time
· Sitting: Less than 1/3 of the time
· Lifting: Up to 50 pounds (occasional)
· Climbing ladders, stairs, and accessing elevated work areas: Occasional to frequent
· Crouching, stooping, reaching, or stretching: Less than 1/3 of the time
· Speaking and hearing: As needed for communication
· Visual acuity required for close work and inspection
Working Conditions
Work is performed primarily in a manufacturing environment with regular exposure to elevated noise levels, hazardous chemicals and odors, and airborne particles or flying debris. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is required, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures is essential.
