About the role

As a Material Inspector I, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of electronic components. You will conduct detailed inspections, use precision measurement tools, and adhere to established procedures to uphold Astute's high standards. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively within a team.

What you'll do

• Inspect electronic components with accuracy, recording results and reporting any discrepancies.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all material inspection processes.
• Use hand tools and precision measurement devices — calipers, micrometers, and scales.
• Communicate inspection findings effectively to managers and relevant departments.
• Report system, procedural, or practical issues to team leaders promptly.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Company Quality Policy.
• Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to all safety protocols at all times.
• Undertake additional duties as reasonably required to support company operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional relevant certifications preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to see implications for the bigger picture.
• Team player who collaborates effectively and contributes to a positive team atmosphere.
• Good organizational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new programs; Outlook familiarity is an advantage.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read and interpret process flow charts, equipment manuals, and safety datasheets.
• Ability to apply basic arithmetic, ratios, and percentages; able to read capacitance, resistance, and impedance values.
• Advance English

Desirable Experience

• Warehouse or inspection environment experience.
• Knowledge of electronic components and ERP systems.
• Familiarity with business systems and practices.
